Budget hotels

Kafischnapps is a block from our place. On the ground floor is a nice cafe/bar for breakfast and late night drinks. They only do shared bathrooms but are immaculately Swiss clean quality and the price is really great for Zurich.

Their sister hotel is Zum Guten Glück; Same deal with the shared bathroom but in a more lively part of town. All of Zürich is safe so nothing to be worried about in that. You’re just more likely to find many bars & restaurants around this area.

Mid-range

All of these are within 5 or 6 trams tops from the centre of town, towards the area where we live. (Would be walking distance to get home from the main station after the trams have finished)
